My Mother's Mother

'My Mother's Mother' is a continuous project that sadly ended in 2021. It focused on documenting my great-grandmother's daily life. As someone who was born in 1924, I have always been fascinated by her and the stories she would tell me and my family. As we all felt that her life was coming to an end, I felt the need to photograph her any chance I could to document her last years, months and days. Babcia Jozia died at such a beautiful and glorious age, 97 to be exact. I feel privileged to have witnessed her age like fine wine and get to know and love someone who has seen the world change as decades went by.
